Travel through the Salzach Valley on your way to Werfen where you will have your first views of the impressive Hohenwerfen Fortress which is featured in the movie "Where Eagles Dare" and "The Sound of Music."

From the parking lot a small mountain lift will take you up to this 11th century fortress. Once within the fortress grounds, the medieval activities will begin. Participate in a birds of prey show or follow the footsteps of former knights by going inside the fortress. Enjoy spectacular, awe-inspiring views of the Tennen and Hagengebirge mountains from the fortress towers.

You will return to Salzburg in the late afternoon.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
